1. What are cookies?
Cookies and similar technologies (such as the browser's local storage) are small data files saved on your device when you visit the site. In this policy, we call all of them "cookies".
2. Whose cookies?
All cookies on lamedore.com are first-party cookies; they are processed on our own servers on behalf of the data controller VENÜS ULUSLARARASI PAZARLAMA LTD. ŞTİ. (La'medore Decorative). We do not use cookies from advertising networks, social networks or other analytics companies, and we do not sell or transfer measurement data to third parties.
3. Essential cookies
No consent is required and they cannot be turned off: language preference, cart contents, session and security information if you are signed in, and your cookie preference itself (`lm-consent-v2`, in the browser's local storage, until you delete it). The site does not work properly without these.
4. Analytics cookies
Only with your consent: used to understand and improve how the site is used: which pages and products are viewed, how long visitors stay on pages, how much of a page is read, on-site searches, add-to-cart steps, clicks on phone/WhatsApp/e-mail links, page load speed, device type, browser and country.
`lm_ziy`: a random identifier used to recognize you as the same visitor on your next visit; it is not linked to your name or contact details; validity period: 12 months.
`lm_otr`: used to group page views within the same visit; it expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
The following are also measured: operating system, page language, the link or the previous page of the site from which you arrived at the site (referring site, path of the previous page and UTM parameters), only the domain name of the destination when external links are clicked, progression to the cart and payment steps, whether a form submission was successful (not what you typed), and your on-site search query and the number of results (queries containing personal data are not recorded).
We do not store your IP address in measurement records; country information is derived once from the connection. We do not measure what you type into form fields. Raw measurement records are deleted after 12 months; only daily totals that cannot be linked to anyone are kept.
5. Your consent and preferences
A cookie window opens on your first visit. The "Accept" and "Reject" buttons have the same size and the same ease; rejecting is as easy as accepting. Analytics cookies are not loaded until you give consent. You can change your preference or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of the page; when you withdraw it, analytics cookies are deleted and measurement stops. We keep a record of your consent (choice, date, policy version) in order to be able to show that consent was given.
Your refusal is also retained as a record so that we can measure our consent rate: only your choice, the policy version, the country and the device type are stored; no identifier is assigned to you and no cookie is set.
6. Browser settings
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser; if you block essential cookies, some parts of the site, such as the cart, may not work.
7. Changes
If we add a new type of cookie (for example, advertising measurement), we will update this policy, change the version date and ask for your consent again.
